If you want to know what a family business looks like, make your way to Voramar. Four siblings now run the restaurant – Ferran, Xavier, Montse, and Carme – a generation that grew up between stoves as they soaked in their mother’s passion for cooking. The parents used to own a Coromines restaurant, where the library of Sant Pol now stands, and from here the whole family fell in love with the craft. They decided to open a snack stand on the edge of the beach, but their mother’s sea- food mastery soon drew them back to the restaurant business. On the menu, you won’t find meat, aside from Iberian ham, because the family specializes in fresh sh and rice dishes. Every day they grill fish, octopus, and mussels, “with oak charcoal, which gives the food a special flavor”, they tell us. Go check them out!
