Sol Blanc is a restaurant with over 30 years of history. In 2013 the former owners decided to retire. As they wanted the restaurant to remain more or less the same, they offered to pass it on to Jordi and his wife Sònia. The couple immediately left the restaurant they were running in Girona and moved to Pals to start a business in this magnificent 1870 stone farmhouse. A basis on Baix Empordà (l’Empordanet) traditions and locally sourced produce enhance the quality and taste of the cuisine. In fact, the couple source many of their ingredients from their adjacent vegetable garden, which they’ve cultivated in an eco-friendly way. The space has been restored and converted into an elegant yet modern and comfortable restaurant, complete with small and cosy rooms and enviable vistas of the historic old town of Pals.
