This emblematic restaurant is known throughout the area for its tasty cuisine and friendly personalised service. The site once housed a machinery workshop until two couples of young entrepreneurs decided to open a restaurant in 1986. Neus and Antoni plus Josep and Núria have spent more than thirty years together working on this gastronomic project of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The team whips up a variety of mouth-watering dishes such as snails “a la llauna”, stone cooked steak with truffle oil, and a delightful mixed grill. But their most representative ingredient is salsify, a root which is peeled, boiled, and served as an accompaniment in both meat and fish recipes. Delicate and delicious, they buy this unique little-known local product from the farmers of the region.
