The current owner’s parents opened the Restaurante Del Port in 1971 under the name of Esquirol, which was their family’s nickname at the time. When Manel took over the premises in 2010, he changed the name and updated the menu. Manel usually takes care of the kitchen, although he sometimes ventures out into the dining hall to ensure his customers are enjoying their meal. The restaurant is an ideal place to escape the stress of the big city and disconnect from daily routine in the peaceful natural surroundings of Els Ports. Its cuisine is rustic, traditional, and market fresh, prepared with the highest quality ingredients, the highlight of which is the chargrilled meat cooked over olive tree firewood. A guesthouse is attached for weekend getaways.
