Josep Maria and Marta Farré, who trained in the Cambrils and Lérida hospitality schools, named their La Fuliola restaurant after the year of its inauguration. Josep has an extensive culinary background, having worked in his parents’ family restaurant for twenty-seven years before launching the project. His gastronomic proposal focuses on the simplistic local traditions of Catalan cuisine, which is reflected in the homely atmosphere within. Menu highlights include the 2007 snails (Josep’s recipe), the “tupina” casserole and the boneless stuffed pig’s feet. All of this is best accompanied by a glass of wine from their extensive list which features a wide array of denominations and emphasises regional varieties.
