This family restaurant and pizzeria opened its doors in 1989, when Ricard and Maria Salut gave up the fishing business to dedicate themselves entirely to cooking. Although at first specializing in pizza and pasta, they added other dishes to their repertoire over the years. Ricard kept building upon his knowledge through various cooking courses. The menu has since been changing, although they’ve not stopped serving up tasty pasta and delicious wood-fired pizza, they’ve now extended the menu to include traditional recipes from Tossa such as cim i tomba (a fish stew). Most menu items are seasonal and revolve around regional ingredients such as codfish and noodles. Of course, we should also mention they’re part of the La cuina Tossenca collective, a hospitality organization committed to promoting traditional local cuisine.
