The family of this entrepreneur chef used to spend the ski season in
La Cerdanya until about ten years ago when they decided to move
there. Dídac had studied at the Hofmann Hospitality School, and
when he was only 19, they opened a small restaurant in Talltorta.
Later, they took advantage of the opportunity to acquire a traditional
stone house that was typical of the area. With the help of their mother
Sandra and her brother Pau, they renovated it, opening up large
windows that overlooked the mountains and preparing two dining
rooms for about 50 people. At the restaurant, they prefer to prepare
seasonal dishes – traditional cuisine that’s been adapted with a few
modern techniques. The mother and son make a good team, working
in harmony and with joy. It’s a highly recommendable place to eat.
