Located in a privileged spot on Plaza Mayor de Cervera, this restaurant was opened 20 years ago by Eugeni and Joana in a building that was once a bakery. Nowadays, it’s mainly run by their son Sergi, who studied in Barcelona where he also worked in a well-known Asian restaurant. Five years ago, he decided he wanted to return to his roots by getting involved in his parents’ business and bringing a unique change to the gastronomic offer: a traditional Catalan cuisine with a distinct Asian touch. The most successful dishes are the dumplings – potatoes cooked with dashi, saffron, and rayu oil – the grilled delta eel, or the chargrilled dewlap with fermented cabbage. For years now, the restaurant has been part of the Slow Food movement, which aims to provide a place for customers to enjoy an unhurried meal and engaging conversation.
