Esther’s love for cooking saw her work in several different restaurants
for many years until she decided to open La Deliciosa, on a quiet plaza
in front of a church in the old part of Roses. Since opening in 2015,
Esther and her son serve their customers quality home-style cuisine
made from produce she buys daily at the markets and from local
farmers. La Deliciosa showcases the recipes Ester has collected over
the years, many of which came from her grandmother, who owns a
restaurant in Barcelona and has passed on her culinary secrets. Other
recipes come from her travels or from work experience in previous
restaurants. La Deliciosa is the perfect destination for a quiet meal
consisting of quality food and drinks.
