An Italian family founded this restaurant many years ago and named
it La Cucanya, which refers to a popular game and also means good
luck. In 1988, Pilar and Ambrosio bought the place to create their
own culinary project. The couple decided to retain the original name,
and the restaurant has been highly successful ever since. After the
death of his father, Carlos stepped in to run the place alongside his
mother. Together, they serve quality contemporary Catalan cuisine,
maintaining the culinary traditions of the coast which they merge
with seasonal dishes. Its impressive ocean views and outstanding fare
make it a must-visit restaurant in Garraf.
