Jesus had studied at hospitality school in Barcelona and Georgina. However, where he really got to learn about the business was through his family’s restaurant in Alella. He and his wife, both of whom are fond of alpine sports, decided to move away from the city to live in a quiet place so they could be more in touch with nature. They found this old house that felt like it had a story behind it, which they figured they could extend through their own lives. First, they started with a small team and a pilot menu of local dishes. But nowadays, they’ve have expanded the staff and couldn’t be happier. Jesús enjoys cooking dishes with locally sourced fresh-market produce, as well as haute cuisine that’s been influenced by the time he spent in Basque Country.
