The Godard was born out of the passion of Xavi, a film school graduate who later became a chef. When he realized his future was behind the stoves, he trained himself by learning from the best national and international chefs. However, this passion for cooking is nothing new, for his parents, Carmen and Javier, ran a small restaurant in Palamós. Three years ago they moved from Palamós to the idyllic cove of Sant Pol de S’Agaró, living in a lavish colonial 1890 house that the Espasa-Calpe family founded, and that the current owners renovated. Here you will taste unique haute cuisine, made from fresh, top quality produce and accompanied by an extensive wine list. Customers love taking in the magnificent views of the cove while sampling the chef ’s exquisite offerings.
