Partners and Empordà natives, Albert Jubany and Dolors Vilalta, have been running this gastronomic space for three years, which has earned the esteem of the Viella locals over time. Albert, who studied at the Hospitality School of Girona, has managed to combine traditional cuisine with avant-garde flavours to create an innovative menu that didn’t exist in Vall d’Aran until now. His dishes are Empordà and Costa Brava cuisine which has been adapted to suit Vall d’Aran tastes. First class and locally sourced (although sometimes French) produce define the menu, which vegetables picked fresh from the garden and a menu that changes with the seasons. Among the standout dishes are the lamb trotters with sea cucumbers, Gers chicken cannelloni, and Palamós prawns with morel cream.
