Grandparents Angelina and Rafael first started a restaurant in a former farmhouse in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu. Together, they worked hard for many years making grilled meats and vegetables as well as home-style dishes. Their daughter, Montserrat continued with her chosen vocation and the family tradition by opening a restaurant on the road from Hostalric to Arbúcies with her partner. Later, they decided to move to the family home in Breda to make life easier. These days, their two children, Samuel and Mireia, run the joint, with Samuel in the kitchen and Mireia looking after the customers. Customers come here to eat tasty and healthy cuisine made from sulphate-free produce grown in the adjacent garden. Even the desserts are homemade, including the ever-popular sweet liquor based ratafia.
