This restaurant is named after its altitude – precisely 1219 meters above sea level. Husband and wife Ricard and Hamida, both of whom were born in Igualada, run the show. The couple arrived in the area about ten years ago and opened a small hotel in Ger. Later, they were given the opportunity to move into the current location, which was a little bigger thus perfect for the gastronomic proposals they had in mind. Ricard studied cooking and has worked as a chef his whole life. Here, you can try anything from uniquely cooked lentils to foie gras ravioli with truffle cream and caramelized onions. Their refined customers appreciate the in-house sommelier who advises on the best wine pairings – there are more than 300 varieties on offer. Overall, the place has everything you need to feel comfortable and well looked after.
