Anna Maria has been working at Can Villaura for more than fifty
years, a business she inherited from her grandparents who began
serving typical country style cuisine long ago. The grandmother died
young, and her husband decided to convert it into a bar and a grocery
store. His son, Lluís, and his wife, Josefina, decided to start serving
food again years later – first sandwiches and then hot meals. However,
it’s been one of the granddaughters and her partner, Miquel Àngel,
who have preserved the family tradition. The couple first met at the
restaurant, where he would often come to dine. Now, together with
the help of their two children, Miquel Àngel and Anna, they run the
show. Olga has taken care of the cooking for more than 20 years and
has since become one of the family.
