After working for years at his parents’ family restaurant in Pineda de Mar, Jordi i Enric’s father decided to open his own in Palafolls in 1984 with his wife. The couple aptly named it Can Reverter II in reference to its successor. Jordi i Enric, who now runs the restaurant together with his parents, tells us he’s learnt to cultivate ingredients from their farm to consistently whip up well-cooked dishes with quality produce in the kitchen. This way, they ensure all their homemade dishes are made from natural ingredients, such as the standout cannelloni and lamb shoulder cutlets. Apart from the local contingent, many outsiders dine here while visiting the town’s castle and the gardens. Indeed, the restaurant’s reputation precedes it.
