Cal Sabater began as a small village store which stocked everyday essentials and, over time, it branched out to serve hot meals to visitors and locals. The business went through the hands of different family members until Santi and his wife, Merche, eagerly decided to grab it a few years ago and turn it into a restaurant. It is a simple place that is typical of the region, which serves buffet breakfasts and good value menu of traditional Catalan stews. The owners tell us they get all sorts of visitors: hikers, cyclists or tourists going to bathe in the nearby natural pools.
