Husband and wife Sisco and Consol and their son Àlex are the second and third generation of the Boria family to run this Bell-lloc d’Urgell establishment. The trio learned about the restaurant trade from their two grandmothers, both of whom were called Maria, as well as Sisco’s father Joan. Currently, Sisco and Àlex, who is also a sommelier, take charge of the kitchen together. Their gastronomic proposal is based on traditional Catalan cuisine with a contemporary touch, while its best known for its superb value for money and friendly attentive service. Among their best homemade dishes are Catalan style broad beans, “cassola de tros”, “olla barrejada”, “escudella,” pork trotters, and chargrilled meat, all of which is made with the finest local produce.
