In 1973, Jordi’s parents built this house both to live in and to open a small restaurant, where they could serve home-style Catalan recipes which they knew how to cook so incredibly well. Over the years, the couple retired and passed the business on to Jordi and his wife Olga, who work hard every day to serve up a modern take on Catalan cuisine made from locally sourced and seasonal produce. Examples of their standout dishes include pork trotters stuffed with vegetables and mushrooms or stewed snails finished a “llauna” style in the oven. The duo changes the menu four times a year to ensure they’re able to cook with fresh produce of the highest possible quality. From the dining room, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the surrounding Penedès: rows of vineyards with a backdrop of the majestic Mount Montserrat.
