This family has always had a special bond with Josa, one of the few towns that lie right inside La Cerdanya’s Cadí Moixeró Park – mostly because the grandparents had a farmhouse there. From a young age, the grandson Diego knew he wanted to be a chef. To do so, he studied hospitality and began working at prestigious restaurants until he decided to open a restaurant in the family house in Josa along with his parents, Diego and Virginia. Here, they take advantage of Diego’s personal and experimental cuisine to delight their customers – gastronomy which is closely intertwined with the local region. With the help of his partner Judith, they only use veggies from their own garden and high-quality local produce, a combo which earned him the chef of the year award in 2015.
