Brothers Víctor and Jordi Martínez took over this family restaurant five years ago from their parents, who had been running it for the previous 30. In doing so, they decided to freshen things up by creating a new a la carte menu including tapas which were aimed at modern times. Jordi leads the kitchen by drawing on his studies at the Cambrils School of Hospitality and over ten years’ cooking experience, while Víctor is in charge of the room. Its culinary proposal fuses the 20th century with the 21st, ranging from calamari a la romana to homemade meatballs and blue crab rice. Despite its large terrace, the establishment is small and cosy. The brothers plan to expand both the menu and facilities in 2019.
